   WATER TREATMENT PLANTS
to concentrate suspended mineral particles after flocculation and
sedimentation, and to recycle the process water.

Performance
• The range of 8 water treatment plants, from DR6 to
DR20 covers applications from 150 to 1600 m3/h,
containing up to 80 t/h of suspended solids.
• Optimisation of the flocculant consumption (and, if
required, coagulant).
• Precise measurement of the scraper resisting torque
to optimize thickening of sludge.
• Possible telemaintenance.

Ergonomics
• Easy access by stairs, gangways with galvanized
gratings,
• Insulated control room with air-conditioning,
• Synoptic supervision board.

Safety
• Protection of the mechanism by removable screens,
• Full cover of the thickener tank (option).

The MS WATER TREATMENT PLANTS find their

containing mineral particles :

Design
• Steel settling tank with overflow weir, on concrete
base,
• Static bridge, with mechanism driving the raisable
pendular scraper,
• Control bungalow, installed on the bridge, and
containing : the control and monitoring cabinet, the
flocculant preparation unit "DOSAFLOC", the
flocculant dosage monitoring unit "CONTROLFLOC",
• Recycled water tank with water pump under load
• Automatized pumping section for the concentrated
sludges.

Evolution
• MS has also designed a surface scraping device to
eliminate foams, hydrocarbons, and floating particles.
• Downstream, a sludge pressing section could
transform the semi-liquid sludge into solid cakes.
